Everyone is fondly calling this little blizzard we had over the weekend "The Snowpocalypse!" Yes, it's slightly dramatic, but given the 30 inches of snow that Mother Nature dumped on our block this weekend, I think it's appropriate!
We only lost power a few times, and for only a minute or two at a time, so we're definitely happily snuggled up- catching up on the DVR, Season 3 of The Wire, watching the Caps devour the Pens, and now the Super Bowl! Here are a few photos of the weekend...
Joe and Dagny on the snow mound on the corner... as you can see, it's almost as high as the stop sign!
So much snow to clear! ;)
Joe dug out the truck, but since it took him nearly an hour to do just that- he left my car under the snow! ;)
