Don't give me this crap! I want the good stuff!

It turns out that our little darling is already a picky eater! She's
been on 100% formula for a week now (I had to stop breastfeeding b/c
my RA flared and I'm back on the meds!) and I noticed that there was
something a little off the past few days... Our normally happy baby
was a smudge fussy, she started throwing up formula, and her dirty
diapers were not looking right (just wait until you have kids... I
never thought I'd be so aware of bowel movements!)!

We hauled into the pediatrician's office this afternoon for a little
checkup and were surprised by two things- one good and one so-so...

The good: Dagger's is officially 7 lbs!

The so-so: She's allergic to milk!

Apparently this is common in babies and she'll probably be cool with
cow juice in a year, but for now it means that we need to feed her
dairy-free formula (Similac Alimentium). It's just a little smellier,
but costs twice as much! she has expensive taste already! ;)

Yup, Garrett had to go on Soy as well. And now he drinks regular milk like most kids. We went through about 10 different formulas until we found one that he could handle. I know what you are going through. If you have questions or need to talk, call me.

Been there love. Don't fret. James was put on Soy at 3 months. Glad they figured it out... Oh that lil sweet pea!
