We picked Doodle up at her Grandma's last night and received the report that she didn't sleep at all on Wednesday night... She fell asleep without a glitch (D + Crib = Sleep), but I could hear her wheezing through the monitor.
She woke up around 3:30am with the most pathetic cry and I realized that something was up. I brought her into my bed (which is probably the 2nd or 3rd time ever) where she rolled around, in and out of sleep, for the rest of the night. I took her temperature when my alarm went of... 101! Ut oh. For the 1st time ever, I called in sick to take care of my sick kid. We made it to 19 months, so I feel kinda lucky that we made it this far!
After a quick trip to the pediatrician, we're at home with some amoxicillin to treat a nasty ear infection. Boo!

A sick baby doesn't make for exciting photos, BUT I'm trying to stick with the idea of taking photos with me in them. So...
...and I even managed to sneak a little yellow in!
For those of you who asked last week: We LOVE the trike! She's too small to pedal (her feet barely touch the pedals if she's reaching for it), but loves being pushed around in it! After a little tantrum when we tried to put it out back, it has now been integrated into our living room set up...

I am SOO sorry to hear about your sweet little girl. My little one had her first consistent fever of 101 a few weeks ago and it was SO hard for me to see her feelign that way! I hope she is better soon and these pictures are priceless...momma taking care of her baby girl. Love them. THanks for linking up and happy Friday to you!
so is it bad to think that she is still the cutest thing ever with a fever!! Love that you had snuggle time, even tho she was not feeling good.
